Sonya Williams, Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner, joined Maryland Primary Care Physicians, LLC in 2005. Ms. Williams earned her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Biochemistry from Virginia Polytechnic Institute in 2000, going on to earn her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree in 2001 and her Master of Science in Nursing degree in 2003 from Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing. Ms. Williams is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center in Family Practice.

What Made Them Decide to Go Into Medicine:
Sonya has always been interested in learning about all aspects of a patient’s life to provide holistic care. Her goal is to provide true quality care for the entire family.

Favorite Thing to Do in Maryland:
Sonya Williams is a master swimmer and enjoys open water races, triathlons, and anything involving water.

One Fun Fact About Them:
Sonya Williams loves to do watercolor painting and is just learning how to play pickleball.
